The audience is late the camera is  focused  on EMMA, she is  addressing at a seminar. Camera pans a auditorium full of people who have paid to hear her life changing story, sitting before her listening, hoping to gain motivation, inspiration and wisdom. The audience becomes tuned in to the dialogue. 

EMMA

but  it's okay i thought, because  my brother is a P.O. and how perfect that he is in  a situation like this! i could not have been more thankful but what i didn't realize at the time was how much something that seemed so beneficial to my situation was going to work so drastically against me. 

Camera focuses on two audience members who start chatting. Emma's voice over the microphone is distant. 

MAN 1 

Her brother is a Parole Officer?? 

WOMAN 1

Honey i think he's a Police Officer. 

Man 1 nods and mouths acknowledgment. 

Cut to another couples conversation. 

WOMAN 2 

How would her brother being a  Police Officer work against her? 

MAN 2 

He's not a Police Officer, he is a Petition Orderer. Shh what did she say?
